A boy and his blog

So.. Vegetarian....
Yeah I am still doing it.  Here is how today broke down. 
Breakfast- woke up at 5am and made the family pancakes.
Lunch- Sushi, lobster salad, tomatoes, basil, mozzarella and balsamic
Dinner- some more of those tomatoes, onion rings and flounder.

I drank a lot of water in between and peed a lot as well.  NICE!!!!.  Anyways, got a question for everyone...

How do i get my blog to be more popular?  

What have you done to get your blog more popular?

Day 2... Wheres the beef????

Weight: 245
Food- NO MEAT.  Breakfast was yogurt with granola, grapefruit, Lunch was salsa, chips, rice Dinner- mushroom burger with fries and couscous

Cmon... that's pretty good.

So day 2 is done with no meat.  No side effects yet.  Pretty tired but I attribute that to staying up with a baby.  Speaking of which, I did two classic daddy moments today.  We took a shower together and he fell asleep on my stomach while I was taking a nap on the couch.  SWEEEEEEEEETTTT!!!!!!!  Yeah its been a couple of good days.

Plus I was really surprised about my weight.  When I stopped the blog, I just let myself go.  No working out, no eating healthy... normal crap. 

Anyways, I will be back here tomorrow.

Guess whos back...

Okay, I know... its been a long time.  It sucks right?  I wouldn't stick around reading some douche bags blog who never signed on either.  But for the next 5 weeks... I am going to blog every day.  So here is whats happened.

Looks like the last time I blogged was back in August.  Since then:
  • Adopted a baby
  • Got a new job
  • Became a vegetarian
Yeah....  September was a big month.  So lets look at all of these items individually. 

1.)  Adopted a baby.  My wife and I have been going with an agency for about 3 months when all of a sudden we get a call.  Baby is on the way, they want you to be the parents, get ready because it will happen in 2 weeks.  Turns out the mom gave birth a couple of days after we found out.  So now I have my second child.  His name is Bryce.  Here is a pic (looks like a Canadian)


2.)  Got a new job.  Yeah, its with the same company.  Just a promotion.  Mo money mo problems

3.)  So right now I am taking a month and a half off of work and I am attempting to become a vegetarian.  I don't care about the animals and its not like I don't like the taste.  I am doing it for health purposes and for self discipline.  Can I actually do it? 
For the record I hate PETA.  I still love bacon, steaks, burgers, hot dogs, wings, ribs, chicken, sausage and everything else that's delicious. 

I will keep everyone posted on weight, activity, and how easy is it to go veggie.

My bad....

Food- its been so long since I have posted, probably a small village
Exercise- regular gym visits

Sorry, sorry, sorry.  I know it has been forever since I posted and so much has happened.  Well... not really.  Still around the same weight.  So whatever I am doing does not seem to be working 100%.  Inconsistant workouts coupled with average to poor eating habits.

Honestly, its so damn hot that it sucks the life out of you and you dont want to do anything outside.  Seriously it has been 100+ degrees every day for the past 2 months.  I guess thats a good thing to get the sweat pouring but its counterproductive because I have no enthusiam to do anything outside. 

Well, this week I am going to make an effort to post every day.  I have four followers and I WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN.  My wife says that to get more followers I have to go join other blogs and link to theres and write "cool blog, check out mine."  There has got to be a better way.  Maybe I will take ad space out or a commercial during the superbowl.  Okay... im out.  See you tomorrow.  No cool picture this morning.

Best Breakfast recipe EVA

Weight: 253
Exercise: a lot of disc golf
Food: horrible breakfast

Yeah I left a lot of stuff out in the food section.  This is going to be kind of counter productive but I am going to post a recipe that is HORRIBLE for you but sooo delicious.

Its my moms recipe called upside down french toast.

9 by 13 pan.  Melt a full stick of butter and pour it in the pan.  add a tsp of cinnamon and a cup of brown sugar into the pan and mix it up.  It will form a brown sugary goodness.  Make sure it is evenly spread across the pan.  In a bowl, mix 6 eggs and 1/2 cup milk.  Throw in a dash of salt for fun.  Beat that till its good and then pour it in the pan. 

Take about 10 pieces of white break and put down 2 layers in the pan.  Its okay if the egg juices don't get on the top piece of bread.  Now put in in saran wrap and stick it in the fridge.  The next morning, take it out and preheat the oven to 375.  Stick the pan in for 40 minutes.  When its done, let it cool for 5.  Then with a spatula, take out the 2 piece layer and flip it over.  It is so good you wont need maple syrup.

Very counterproductive to losing weight but you have to treat yourself every now and then.

Question... How do you get away with farting on a treadmill?
Answer... There really isn't a good way.  You just put on the headsets, turn it up to 11 and let it rip

Question... What do you do if someone doesn't wipe the sweat away after using the equipment?
Answer... I don't know, I usually leave before the guy after me does anything

Question... What is your best trick to burn calories?
Answer... lighter

Food: Banana, grapes, apples, pickle, pistachios, jimmy john sub with no mayo, water, spaghetti

Great to be back on track with the whole gym thing.  It just feels good when you walk out of the gym covered in sweat, your body exhausted.  It just feels good. 

Tonight my body is exhausted\relaxed, my confidence is higher and I had a kick ass day today at work.  Life is just good.  So I want to be in the 230's before August.  It is totally doable. 

So today at the gym this is what I did:  Ran for 30 minutes, Chest press, back lift, pulled that T-bar down, planks for like 2 minutes and squats.  When I get the file I will post it so you can see my workout. 

OHHH.. So icing. There is this game that only guys can play.  Object of the game is to trick the other guy into finding a Smirnoff ice.  If they find it in front of you they have to get down on one knee and chug it no matter what the situation.  So you cant just run up and say "I got a Smirnoff you gotta drink it".  It has to be presented in a creative way.  If the person that you "ice" has a Smirnoff ice within reaching distance, then you have to drink two of them.  It sucks.  Girls play a similar game called "Busching" but its with busch light.
